Error 1316: Network error while attempting to .....





The problem is:

During installation of any software (in this case Kaspersky, as shown in the figure) shows an error:

"Error 1316 : A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file ......................."







Before you arrive at the solution, I tried different paths, which are:

• refresh the system files using a SFC / SCANNOW
  
• further refresh with reinstall sp3
• removed traces previous antivirus tool with specific
• analysis computer for viruses (without hesitation)
• remove Windows Installer 3.1 and Windows Installer 4.5 (without hesitation)
  

No question, then trying to dig deeper into the problem I have carefully examined the error log, prior to installation problem and so on.

I found, in fact, just before the problem had been installed an update to MSXML 2.0 and in some moments, problems were reported to the file vbscript.dll

I solved the problem with this procedure:

re-registering DLLs



Windows XP Start> Run> type "regsvr32 vbscript. dll "and to send

Windows Vista and Seven

Start> All Programs> Accessories> find the command prompt> click the right button and" Run as administrator "

Then proceed to reinstall / update MSXML


MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 2 (Microsoft XML Core Services)

Restart your computer and should return to normal.
